Warehouse Manager

Brian joined Smarter Furnishings in September 2024 after a virtual interview with Operations Director, Landry Lyle and a follow-up conversation with CEO, Johnny Collins. From those initial interactions, he knew right away that this was the right place for him.

His organizational skills and proactive approach have been shaped by years of experience, including his 14 years as a Project Manager at AT&T. Brian believes in gathering as much information as possible to prepare for upcoming challenges, and he encourages asking questions to ensure clarity. In his current role, he manages all incoming and outgoing shipments, oversees inventory control, and ensures the warehouse operates safely, efficiently, and within budget.

Brian’s approach to building customer relationships centers around listening—truly hearing the needs of clients rather than just talking. He learned during his time at AT&T that keeping customers informed and treating every project as the most important one is key to building trust and lasting partnerships.

He has a guilty pleasure for fried foods, including squash, chicken, okra, and fish. Outside of work, Brian enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, visiting the Gulf Coast and the mountains of Northeast Alabama, where he’s originally from.
