Stephen joined Smarter Furnishings in July 2025 after previously working as a project manager at a consulting firm, where he partnered with Smarter on BC and CRM systems.
His background in project management gave him valuable experience in organizing work, gathering user stories, outlining processes, and leveraging tools like Copilot to enhance efficiency. That consulting mindset—focused on consistently delivering value—continues to guide the way he approaches his work today.
As ERP Manager and a member of the Continuous Improvement team, Stephen oversees the configuration, maintenance, and ongoing optimization of Smarter’s ERP system. He also collaborates across departments to identify and implement process improvements in CRM, operations, project management, and more.
By helping streamline systems and workflows, he ensures the business runs smoothly behind the scenes, ultimately creating a better experience for customers.
Stephen believes successful relationships—both internally and externally—are built on clear, timely communication and keeping commitments. For him, that foundation of transparency and trust makes it easier to work through challenges and build strong, lasting partnerships.
Outside of work, Stephen enjoys life with his wife and baby girl. They love cooking together, going on bike rides, and exploring the mountains. Personally, he’s passionate about camping, fishing, skiing, and basketball. His guilty pleasure? Flaming Hot Cheetos (Xtra Spicy).
