Garrett O’Neil

Garrett O’Neal is the Install Director at Smarter Furnishings, first joining the company in 2012 as an installer. Early on, he quickly came to appreciate the teamwork and dedication required to deliver successful projects—and the hands-on leadership that shaped the company’s culture.

Seeing ownership step in with “boots on the ground” when teams needed support left a lasting impact, and it’s a mindset Garrett carries into his role today. Whether it’s operations, installs, or sales, he believes in showing up where he’s needed and ensuring teams always feel supported.

In his role, Garrett is responsible for building and organizing install teams, from new installers to experienced crew leads. He ensures every project has the right people and preparation in place so installs are completed efficiently and to the highest standard. For customers, that means less stress, smoother projects, and confidence their investment is in good hands.

Garrett approaches customer relationships with a focus on trust, consistency, and communication. He believes being dependable—meeting expectations while anticipating needs and stepping up when challenges arise—is the foundation of lasting partnerships.

Outside of work, Garrett enjoys staying active, spending time with family and friends, and sharing laughs over good food. You’ll often find him at a board game or card table, or watching and playing sports whenever he gets the chance. And his guilty pleasure? Grabbing Chick-fil-A when he doesn’t feel like cooking.
