Within just a few days of placing your order, you’ll be introduced to your dedicated Project Manager — the person overseeing every step of your installation. Having one main point of contact means no unnecessary back-and-forth or confusion, and it allows us to keep communication clear and efficient from day one.

Throughout the process, this point of contact will provide you with real-time updates as key milestones are reached. If a truck is scheduled, a delivery is confirmed, or your furniture leaves our warehouse, you’ll know about it the moment it happens. Proactive Site Prep (Before Arriving on Install Days)

Long before the first truck arrives, we’re working behind the scenes to set your install up for success. For larger projects, your Smarter Furnishings project manager visits your site weeks (or even months) in advance to:

  • Identify optimal truck access points
  • Locate the best positions for dumpsters and staging
  • Assess any potential site restrictions or challenges

Added value alert! If you need help clearing out old furniture before the new pieces arrive on install day, we’ve got you covered. Upon request, our on-site install team is happy to handle the removal and disposal of your old pieces.

If you’d like to add this service to your project, we’ll plan ahead to remove the old furniture and, when possible, coordinate donations through partners like the Chicago Furniture Bank, which helps keep usable pieces out of landfills by giving them a second life.
