Taylor Long

Taylor Long is the Director of Logistics at Smarter Furnishings, where he has been bringing his expertise for the past year. Before joining Smarter, Taylor spent nine years as a Logistics Manager at the company and four years in restaurant management with McAlister’s Deli.

In his current role, he oversees the movement of products from start to finish across multiple projects, ensuring smooth, timely deliveries. Taylor excels in managing ocean, air, and domestic freight and has successfully directed logistics for high-profile projects such as Margaritaville. Known for anticipating challenges before they arise, he takes pride in delivering seamless service and driving Smarter Furnishings’ commitment to industry-leading customer care.

Outside of work, Taylor is a dedicated family man who enjoys spending time with his two children, Andrew and Scotti Mae, cheering at high school football games or attending dance recitals. He has a passion for the Rocky Mountains—especially Wyoming and Montana—where he loves vacationing in the snow and spotting bison.

A lifelong University of Tennessee fan, Taylor lives by the motto of making a positive impact on those around him, believing that hard work and a positive influence naturally propel success. In his community, he has volunteered as a baseball coach for seven years, finding joy in teaching and watching young athletes grow.
