For Robin Villafuerte Jr., a successful project starts long before installation—with clear communication, careful planning, and attention to the details.

Robin brings years of hospitality and project management experience to Smarter Furnishings, with a background managing hotel renovations, FF&E installations, vendors, subcontractors, logistics, schedules, and field operations across the country. Before joining Smarter, he served as a Project Manager with WRG, overseeing hospitality renovation and installation projects from initial planning through completion.

That experience has taught Robin the importance of looking ahead. He knows that identifying potential challenges early, keeping communication clear, and making sure everyone is working toward the same goal can make a complex project feel a whole lot simpler. At Smarter, he’s excited to build on that experience while expanding his expertise in cabinetry and countertops and helping grow that side of the business.

Originally from South Texas, Robin attended Del Mar College in Corpus Christi and now calls Nashville home. Away from work, he enjoys good food, time with the people closest to him, and the occasional day without much of a schedule. He’s also a lifelong Raiders fan—and no matter how busy life gets, he’ll always make time for a good plate of crawfish.
