Krista Chung

Krista Chung is the Director of Strategic Brands at Smarter Furnishings, based in Chicago, IL. With more than 13 years of experience in account and program management across hospitality, real estate development, and procurement, she excels at creating strategies that streamline processes and improve organizational efficiency.

Before joining Smarter Furnishings, Krista advanced through roles at a hospitality-focused social media firm and a real estate development company, building expertise in hospitality, international procurement, and program management. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Kent State and is currently preparing for her PMP certification.

At Smarter Furnishings, Krista focuses on expanding the project management division, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget, and researching new products to strengthen the company’s role as a turnkey partner for clients.

Outside of work, Krista enjoys reading, Peloton workouts, and spending time with her 3.5-year-old twins. A lifelong Harry Potter fan, she has read the series multiple times and continues to draw inspiration from its evolving messages. She’s also an accomplished runner, having completed eight marathons and one ultra-marathon.

Inspired by Taylor Swift’s career journey, Krista is passionate about balancing her dedication to family with her ambition to grow Smarter Furnishings’ strategic brands and position the company as the partner of choice for leading names in the industry.
