With a background in contract and commercial furniture, and over a decade at Smarter Furnishings, Dean brings entrepreneurial spirit, sales expertise, and a genuine love for people to every project.
Today, Dean focuses on growing the company by providing sales value, building strong relationships, and engaging in strategic planning. He finds immense satisfaction in showing his family the luxury furniture Smarter Furnishings has delivered for iconic destinations like Margaritaville and Dollywood Resort. To Dean, every customer who trusts Smarter Furnishings with their order deserves respect, responsive service, and long-term value. His passion for putting others first shows in every relationship—whether with purchasing managers, interior designers, coworkers, or his own family at home.
Outside of work, Dean enjoys exercising, hiking with his wife, and spending quality time with his kids. He draws inspiration from podcasts like Lex Fridman, Excel Still More, and Impact Theory, and is committed to creating a positive, fun workplace culture where his team can thrive. Active in his church community, Dean teaches Bible classes to middle and high school students and participates in mission trips, but believes his greatest impact comes from everyday interactions. A proud husband and father, he feels fortunate for the support of his family and church, and he lives by the motto: “Whether you think you can or cannot, you are right.”
